Which parts of our Horizon setup go away?
On the hosted service, Neverinstall’s broker, gateway and Management Console take the place of Connection Servers and Unified Access Gateways. Neverinstall operates them.
Your team keeps the desktop images and access policies.
Do users need the Horizon Client?
No. Desktops open in any modern browser with multiple monitors, microphone, webcam and printing. Standard RDP clients and thin clients also connect.
Do we have to replace vSphere to move desktops?
No. Desktops can run in Neverinstall Cloud or your cloud account while vSphere stays in place.
If you are leaving vSphere as well, Neverinstall Private Cloud runs desktops and server workloads on your own servers.
Can desktops run at a disconnected site?
Yes. Neverinstall hosts the Management Console by default, and fully disconnected sites use a local Management Console on Neverinstall Private Cloud.
Who supports the service?
Neverinstall engineers support it 24×7, the same team that builds it, with response targets in your contract.
