Which parts of our Citrix setup go away?
On the hosted service, Neverinstall’s broker, gateway and Management Console take the place of Delivery Controllers, the site databases, StoreFront and gateway appliances. Neverinstall operates them.
Your team keeps the desktop images and access policies.
Do users need the Citrix Workspace app?
No. Desktops open in any modern browser, and standard RDP clients and thin clients connect as well.
Can desktops stay on our servers?
Yes, with Neverinstall Private Cloud. Neverinstall hosts the Management Console by default, and fully disconnected sites use a local Management Console.
Can we keep our profiles and sign-in?
Yes. FSLogix profile containers are supported on Windows desktops, and sign-in works through SAML or OIDC, including Entra ID, Okta and Google.
Can CAD and graphics users move?
Yes. GPU Desktops carry CAD and 3D work, and Indovance moved its CAD desktops from Citrix. The pilot runs on the group’s own project files and application licenses.
Do we have to move everyone at once?
No. Groups move one at a time, and Citrix keeps serving the rest until each group is live on Neverinstall.
