Your work desktop, wherever you sign in.

Give remote staff a Windows or Linux desktop in their browser. Keep team applications in an approved image, and set clipboard, download and printing rules for each team.

Laptops carry the work home.

Each laptop holds the team’s applications and files, and is shipped, patched and recovered one device at a time.

Hosting and management

Choose Neverinstall Cloud, your cloud account or your own servers with Neverinstall Private Cloud. Neverinstall hosts the Management Console by default; disconnected deployments can use a local Management Console.

The support path

Agree on who handles sign-in, connection and application issues, and how staff get help. Include those responsibilities in the cost comparison.

Test a full working day.

Start with one team on its usual devices and connections.

  1. Prepare the desktop

Build the team’s application image. Connect sign-in and set access, transfer and recording rules.

  2. Run real work

Test applications, meetings and peripherals on home connections. Drop the connection and check reconnection to the same session. Record tasks that need a different client.

  3. Agree on support and cost

Test a sign-in issue and an image update. Agree on who supports each issue, then compare contracted users, infrastructure, licenses and support with the current setup.

Questions about remote work.

What do staff need to sign in?

A supported browser or RDP client. Browser access needs no installation. Connect your identity provider over SAML or OIDC, including Entra ID, Okta and Google.

What happens on a weak home connection?

Applications and files remain on the desktop. The stream adapts to available bandwidth, and the client reconnects to the same session after a drop. Test the team’s actual connections during the pilot.

Can staff join video calls and use several monitors?

The browser client supports microphone, webcam and multiple monitors. Test the meetings and peripherals your team uses on its normal connections.

Where can desktops run?

Use Neverinstall Cloud, your OCI, Google Cloud, Azure or AWS account, or your servers with Neverinstall Private Cloud. We review regions, capacity and support responsibilities for your deployment.

What happens when someone leaves?

Revoke desktop access centrally. Applications and files remain on the desktop, apart from anything the transfer rules already allowed the person to copy or download.

How is it priced?

Neverinstall Virtual Desktops is priced per user, per month. The quote lists infrastructure, third-party licenses and support separately.
